Mike Adenuga, Reigning Entertainers Absence Take Shine Off Peter Okoye’s Wedding.

The wedding of Peter Okoye of the P-Square fame to Lola Omotayo, the mother of his children could have gone far better- particularly as regards attendance.
But the absence of wedding Chairman, Dr Mike Adenuga and reigning entertainers took a bit of shine off the event.
The Globacom Chairman headlined the publicity build up to the much anticipated Sunday November 17 traditional wedding as Chairman. He didn’t attend.
Equally reigning sensation, Wizkid (Ayo Balogun) reported to have confirmed performance was no where near the event.
Same for Nigeria’s longest reigning superstar, Innoncent Idibia (2face). Others in the outstanding bracket that were absent include, Davido (David Adeleke), Dbanj ( Dapo Oyebanjo).

King Sunny Ade to perform for guests at Tiwa Savage’s wedding

 

Another big wedding is taking place this month – November 23 – and it’s been billed to be bigger than Peter Okoye’s traditional wedding which held on Sunday.

Tiwa and Tunji will on Saturday, November 23, 2013 be holding their traditional marriage ceremony at The Ark Vicinity located on Okunade Bluewater Zone, off Remi Olowude Street, Lekki.

According to NET,  legendary Juju musician King Sunny Ade will lead a team of A-list musicians who will entertain at the wedding.

The couple specially invited the juju musician after they met him last year.
NET reports that the wedding invitation which is creatively designed with a ‘T and T’ emblem on the cover is printed in two colours – fuchsia and gold, matching the wedding outfit colours of the day. The event is strictly by invitation.

Scott Disick is mourning the sudden loss of his mother.
Bonnie Disick has died at the age of 63, E! News confirmed Thursday. She and husband lived on Long Island, N.Y., where Scott, an only child, was raised.
Scott and  Kourtney Kardashian have been in New York since last week.
He and Kourtney, who have been spotted walking hand in hand together in NYC this week, were both absent for Kris Jenner's family birthday celebration on Tuesday night.

Peter Okoye took to his Instagram page to post some pictures of him and his brother in a stunning sitting and dining rooms allegedly belonging to a top government official in Rivers state shortly after attending the interment of Patience Jonathan’s mum in Okrika, Rivers State.
The Okoye brothers were lodged in the attention catching mansion during their stay in the Garden City.

Nigerian pop singer, Waconzy while appearing as guest on ‘Rubbin’ Minds yesterday, emphasized the need for fellow musicians to create music that has meanings and positive messages.

“I don’t believe in all these stuff these little children do these days. They do songs they don’t have meaning, they just wanna make noise, this is bull sh*t you know.” he said.
When the show host, Ebuka, probed further into the identity of the little children he considers as noise makers, Waconzy responded by mentioning Olamide, Timaya, Davido among some of the artistes who make hit songs but do not make music.

He said “Olamide’s skelewu is an empty song, Tonto Dikeh and Timaya are noise makers, Olamide doesn’t make sense in his music sometimes”.
He advised artistes to embrace hiring song writers if they could not do the job themselves.
Waconzy however commended artistes like Tiwa Savage, Waje, Bez, Tuface Idibia – he  stated that their music contained good lyrics and would remain evergreen.
