Karen Igho gets her British citizenship

Media personality Karen Igho is now a British-Nigerian.
She’s been working on the British citizenship for years now and it has finally worked out for her.

She took to Twitter a few minutes ago to make the announcement
“I just became a citizen of the UK”, she says.
She further announced that there will be “drinks for everyone”.

The wedding of Peter Okoye of the P-Square fame to Lola Omotayo, the mother of his children could have gone far better- particularly as regards attendance.
But the absence of wedding Chairman, Dr Mike Adenuga and reigning entertainers took a bit of shine off the event.
The Globacom Chairman headlined the publicity build up to the much anticipated Sunday November 17 traditional wedding as Chairman. He didn’t attend.
Equally reigning sensation, Wizkid (Ayo Balogun) reported to have confirmed performance was no where near the event.
Same for Nigeria’s longest reigning superstar, Innoncent Idibia (2face). Others in the outstanding bracket that were absent include, Davido (David Adeleke), Dbanj ( Dapo Oyebanjo).

The movie star recently acquired the elite iPhone embellished in 24carat gold from a customization and wealth creation company in the United Kingdom, Golden Gene Global, Movie moments reports.
Genevieve shared the photo on her instagram page hours ago with the caption “Living my life like it’s Golden – and now I have an iPhone to match”.

King Sunny Ade to perform for guests at Tiwa Savage’s wedding

 

Another big wedding is taking place this month – November 23 – and it’s been billed to be bigger than Peter Okoye’s traditional wedding which held on Sunday.

Tiwa and Tunji will on Saturday, November 23, 2013 be holding their traditional marriage ceremony at The Ark Vicinity located on Okunade Bluewater Zone, off Remi Olowude Street, Lekki.

According to NET,  legendary Juju musician King Sunny Ade will lead a team of A-list musicians who will entertain at the wedding.

The couple specially invited the juju musician after they met him last year.
NET reports that the wedding invitation which is creatively designed with a ‘T and T’ emblem on the cover is printed in two colours – fuchsia and gold, matching the wedding outfit colours of the day. The event is strictly by invitation.
